However, many people are finding that the problem is that they have to own the disk of the game to be able to play the newly released content.

Many people find that once they have handed over the game, the game creators announce or release new content. This problem isn’t just restricted to people who want to play the content for the fun of it. This problem isn’t just for people who enjoy playing the new content. People who love getting the full amount of achievements are finding it a pain because the new game achievements are added even if they don’t buy the content. GTA 4 is the latest company to do so because they are releasing their next downloadable content onto a standalone disc, as well as their previous content. This simply means that you no longer have to own the GTA 4 disk to be able to play the new content.

The only current downside to this is that companies only really do it once they have a number of packs to release onto disc, whether this will change in the future, we’ll just have to wait and see.
